After Breakfast, Start Your Saturday with Some Pilates Interval Training
We are excited to offer another season of Fitness on Will's Plaza at The Tobin Center. Twice monthly, enjoy yoga, cardio, pilates, and family fitness on The Tobin Center's Will Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza. University Health System Fitness on the Plaza is excited to present Pilates Interval Training with InBalance on Saturday, September 14th at 9 am.
Pilates Interval Training is the ultimate interval-based class. We will combine pilates principles with plyometrics, strength training and endurance training for an intense, total body workout. Using weights, medicine balls, bands and more, we will challenge the cardiovascular system while building strength in this class that is designed to burn fat and calories while developing strength and agility.
If you’re new to this realm of fitness, pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Pilates moves tend to target the core, although the exercises work other areas of your body as well. It strengthens and stabilizes your core body, which is your foundation, so that you can move efficiently while improving your posture, flexibility, and mobility.
University Health System Fitness on Will's Plaza is a free outdoor fitness event for all ages. So, plan to sweat like crazy while working every muscle group next weekend!
